Why Couples Choose Danai

Because the little details become the big memories.

I'm Danai, founder of Santorini Photoshoot (santoriniphotoshoot.com), and I've spent years capturing and creating some of the most beautiful love stories in Santorini.

Over time, I realized something important: A proposal is not just a photoshoot. It's the most emotional moment in a couple's journey. That's why I created Santorini Proposal by Danai — to design proposals that feel deeply personal, beautifully styled, and completely unforgettable.

You tell me about your partner. What she loves. What she dreams about. How you met. And how you imagine the moment feeling. Then I design everything around your story. No templates. No standard packages. No copy-paste setups. Just a proposal that feels like you.

You don't need to know exactly what you want. That's my job. Your only job is to say: "Will you marry me?" I'll take care of everything else.

Proposal Locations in Santorini

We arrange proposals across Santorini's most breathtaking settings:

Oia — The iconic white-washed village with blue-domed churches and caldera views, famous for its sunsets
Fira — The vibrant capital perched on the cliffs, with spectacular caldera and volcano views
Imerovigli — The highest point of the caldera, offering 360° panoramic views of the Aegean
Private Villas — Exclusive terrace settings with uninterrupted sea views
Secluded Cliffside Spots — Hidden locations away from the crowds for a truly intimate moment

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book?: The earlier the better, especially for popular dates and sunset proposals. Contact us with your date and we'll let you know what's possible.
Can you keep the proposal a surprise?: Absolutely. Surprise coordination is one of the most important parts of what we do. We'll help you plan the logistics discreetly so your partner doesn't know what's happening.
Can I customize the proposal decoration?: Absolutely. Every proposal can be adapted to your preferred colors, flowers, style and budget. If you have a Pinterest board, Instagram inspiration or simply an idea in your head, send it to us and we'll help bring it to life.
Can you help me choose the perfect location?: Yes. We'll help you choose a setting based on your vision, preferred atmosphere, photography, timing and privacy requirements.
Do you provide the flowers and decorations?: Yes. We can create and coordinate the floral and decorative styling for your proposal.
Can you arrange a photographer?: Yes. Professional photography can be included in your proposal experience.
How soon will I get the photos?: We offer express delivery on photos! You will receive fully edited high-resolution images the next day!
Can you arrange champagne, music or other extras?: Yes. We can add celebration details and other experiences depending on your proposal design.
What happens if the weather changes?: We'll discuss the best plan for your date and location and help you prepare an appropriate backup option where possible.
Do you arrange the engagement ring?: We don't supply the ring, but we can suggest trusted local jewellers in Santorini if needed. We do handle everything else — flowers, styling, fireworks, champagne, and the element of surprise.
I don't know exactly what I want. Can you help?: That's completely fine. Tell us about your partner and the kind of feeling you want, and we'll recommend a proposal concept for you.
